I always check out the Unity {Show and Tell} challenges. The challenge was "Birthday Challenge - Use your Unity Birthday Stamps and Kraft base to make your creation." So I made this card to play along using Unity's Damn Girl stamp set."
I love the way the pink looks against the Kraft. I used Prismacolor colored pencils to add color to the girl and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink to give it a pink glow around the edges. I dug out some of my paper punches to make the lattice edges and the "button" at the top. It was fun to play along.

Coffee is just the best.... coffee cards are even better!
I just love these sets of stamps by Gina Marie Designs.
This one turned out just fabulous.
Funny Coffee Cups
Snarky Coffee Words
I am a coffee girl and I love a snarky saying.... these two sets together really made me happy.
I made several cards using these sets. I have tons of ideas floating around in my head but I think these are a good start....
I did a little Copic coloring. I fussy cut the cup and added a few dies for the background. I decided to emboss the dies and the coffee in the cup.
This sentiment is naughty... but oh how I love it.
A little Copic coloring and some background stamping using Wplus9's Big Top Background.
Here I used the Stampendous Coffee Background stamp, and Wplus9's Big Top Background for the coffee mug. I used Distress Oxide in Walnut stain for the background and around the edges.
This one turned out just fabulous.
I did just a little Copic shading around the cup and I used Distress Oxide in Broken China for the sky, punched out some clouds, added a little Copic shading to the clouds, and topped them off with some Wink of Stella. The whole card just makes me smile.
I just love coffee! It's just the best!

New Year - New Beginnings
I have been toying around with the idea of starting a blog.... well actually, I started a blog years ago but it fell by the wayside because I realized I had no idea what I was doing nor did I take the time to figure it out. This year I am going to try to do better - I mean I graduated from college so if I can figure out how to use the quadratic formula or research all about Walter Reuther, I should be able to figure this out. {Right?}
So here's to new beginnings and a great year ahead.
